Youth stabbed dead in Bogra

A young man was stabbed to death allegedly by his friendd in Dupchanchia upazila in Bogra district on Tuesday evening. The deceased was identified as Muktar Hossain, 35, son of late Sona Miah, a resident of Talore Bazar. Witnesses said Muktar along with his two friends was having a chat at Talore Bazar around 6.00pm. At one stage, he engaged in an altercation with one of his friends during the conversation. His friends stabbed him, leaving him injured critically. Locals rescued Muktar Hossain and whisked him off to a clinic where on-duty doctor declared him dead. Officer-in-charge of Dupchanchia Police Station confirmed the incident, according to a news agency.
