Youth voice dialogue held in Rajshahi

RAJSHAHI UNIVERSITY, May 27: To connect the youths in the social and human welfare works, British Council has been working for a long time.
The British Council has been providing training on leadership and social action project to 22 thousand youths in the country, to build them up as active citizen.
Matt Pusey, deputy director of British Council, expressed these in a dialogue at Rajshahi postal academy auditorium yesterday organised by journalism and knowledge practicing NGO Centre for Communication & Development (CCD), said a press release.
Mr. Pusey also mentioned that this large number of youths have been implementing various social welfare oriented programmes in the society. That is a great success.
Among others, Mamun Hossain, head of society project in British Council, GM Mortuza, director of CCD, Subrata Pal, area coordinator of The Hunger Project, Hasan Tanveer, coordinator of Active Citizens project, and Sohrab Hossen of ISV participant also spoke in the dialogue.
About 50 brilliant students of different educational institutions and also active citizens took part in the dialogue.
