Yunus briefs media today

Grameen Bank chief Muhammad Yunus will brief the press today (Sunday) about the recent controversies against him over diverting aid from one organisation to another. The bank Saturday in a media invitation, signed by its deputy managing director Nurjahan Begum, said: "You know there has been a debate regarding Grameen Bank recently in the media. We think such a kind of debate should be resolved." It says Muhammad Yunus will speak at the conference to be held at 12 noon at the bank's headquarters at Mirpur-2 in the city. —bdnews24.com
