'Yunus is corrupt'

SYLHET, Dec 4 (bdnews24.com): Awami League joint general secretary Mahbub-ul-Alam Hanif has termed Muhammad Yunus a 'corrupt' and said he has no right to undermine Bangladesh abroad.
"It's proved again that he (Yunus) is a corrupt," Hanif told reporters here Saturday, a day after the party general secretary voiced concern over the allegations of diverting nearly Tk 7 billion aid from Grameen Bank to another company.
After a rally organised by Jatiya Sramik League at Registry Maidan, Hanif said the government has taken up the matter seriously and is investigating it.
