Yussuf Abdullah re-elected Chairman of Asia Insurance

The Board of Directors of Asia Insurance Limited has recently re-elected its Directors Mr. Yussuf Abdullah Harun FCA as chairman and Mr. Mohammed Jamal ullah as Vice Chairman at its 75th Board Meeting held recently in the city.
Mr. Yussuf Abdullah Harun FCA is a renowned business personality and successful entrepreneur of the country. He was President of FBCCI and Chairman of Southeast Bank Limited. He was a Director of Infrastructure Development Company Limited (IDCL) and Infrastructure Investment Facilitation Center (IIFC) both joint venture between World Bank and Govt. of Bangladesh.
Mr. Harun was also Vice President of SAARC Chamber of Commerce and Industry and Confederation of Asia Pacific Chamber of Commerce and Industry (CACCI). He is associated with number of Companies in the fields of Shipping, Real Estate, Hotels and IT Software, Manufacturing etc. Mr. Harun is a Member of the Board of Governors of North South University (NSU).
Vice Chairman Mr. Mohammed Jamal Ullah is a renowned businessman. His business activities include food and Chemical industries.
He is Managing Director of Chittagong-based Silver Dal Mills Ltd. Ishfar Oil Mills Ltd., Rupali Soap & Chemical Industries (Pvt.) Ltd., Silver Coconut oil Mills Ltd., and the proprietor of Bismillah Store.
