Zaglul laid to eternal rest

Senior journalist Zaglul Ahmed Chowdhury, died in a city road crash on Saturday night, was laid to rest in Azimpur graveyard (new) on Monday night following his Namaj-e-janaza at the National Press Club (NPC). His 1st Namaj-e-janaza (funeral prayer) was held at Banani Mosque after Zohr prayers and the 2nd one held at the NPC after Asr prayers. From the NPC, his body was taken to the Azimpur graveyard (new) where he was laid to eternal rest beside the grave of his mother. Zaglul, the Consulting Editor of the Financial Express, sustained grievous injuries after he fell from a bus while alighting from the vehicle in Sonargaon Hotel Intersection in Karwan Bazar on Saturday evening. He was rescued and rushed to Mohona Hospital in nearby Panthapath and then shifted to Comfort Hospital in Green where he succumbed to his injuries around 8:30pm, according to a news agency.
