Zaglul to be laid to rest at Azimpur Graveyard today

Renowned journalist Zaglul Ahmed Chowdhury, who died in a road accident in the city on Saturday night, will be laid to rest at Azimpur Graveyard on Monday afternoon. Family sources said the first Namaj-e-Janaza of Zaglul, the Consulting Editor of the Financial Express, will be held at Banani Mosque after Zohr prayers. His second Namaj-e-Janaza will be held at the National Press Club after Asr prayers, they said. Zaglul, an analyst of international affairs and a former Chief Editor and Managing Director of Bangladesh Sangbad Sangstha (BSS), died while receiving treatment at Comfort Hospital in Dhaka’s Green Road after a speeding bus knocked him down at Sonargaon Hotel Intersection in Karwan Bazar around 8:30pm on Saturday.
