Zero Covid death for 3rd day

Bangladesh reported zero death from Covid-19 for the third consecutive day on Thursday with the virus test positivity rate inching up further to 1.69 per cent.
The test positivity rate was 1.38 per cent in the country on Wednesday.
On the other hand, the Directorate General of Health Services (DGHS) reported 233 Covid-19 cases during the last 24 hours until 8:00 am on Thursday, up from the previous day's 182.
With the latest daily counts, the total fatalities from coronavirus infection reached 29,112, since the virus was detected first in the country in March 2020.
A total of 13,791 samples were tested against 14,152 collected samples across the country during the last 24 hours until 8:00 am on Thursday.
Besides, 1,561 people recovered from coronavirus infection in the country during the reporting time. The recovery rate was 95.73 per cent on the day.
