Zero death, 73 new Covid-19 cases in 24 hrs

Bangladesh reported zero death from Covid-19 and 73 new virus cases on Thursday. The figures were two and 72 respectively on Wednesday, according to official data.
With the latest daily counts, the total fatalities from coronavirus reached 29,122 since the virus was first detected in the country in March 2020.
A total of 9,370 samples were tested against 9,390 samples, collected from across the country, during the last 24 hours until 8:00 am on Thursday.
Some 884 people recovered from coronavirus infection during the last 24-hour reporting time. The rate of recovery was reported at 96.40 per cent on the day.
On the other hand, the rate of fatalities from Covid-19 remained static at 1.49 per cent.
According to the official data, the number of total Covid-19 cases exceeded 1.95 million in Bangladesh, and more than 1.88 million of them recovered from the deadly disease.
On the other hand, over 13.82 million samples were tested across the country since the virus was first detected here.
