Zia continues solo lead in A Chess

GM Ziaur Rahman of Dhaka Mohammedan Sporting Club still continued his solo lead in the points table with 9.5 points after 11th round of the Berger Paints National 'A' Chess now being held at the Media Centre of Bangladesh Olympic Association, reports BSS.
In today's round, Zia split points with FM Nasir Ahmed of Bangladesh Navy. GM Enamul Hossain of Bangladesh Navy lost to Uten of Access Group. Reigning champion GM Abdullah Al Rakib of Bangladesh Navy lost his teammate IM Minhazuddin Ahmed of this round.
GM Enamul and GM Niaz Murshed of Dhaka Mohammedan are jointly sharing the 2nd position with 8.5 points.
In the 11th round, Niaz beat Golam Mostafa Bhuiyan of Sonali Bank Sports & Recreation Club. Masum Hossain of Fire-Service & Civil Defence beat FM Kh. Aminul Islam of Bangladesh Navy.
