Zigatola tannery fire tamed

Firefighters doused the fire which broke out at a tannery plant in Zigatola area in the city on Friday morning. However, no casualty is reported. Fire Service sources said the fire erupted at ‘Bhulua Tannery’ at Tannery More in the area around 9:05am. Being informed, four firefighting units rushed to the spot and managed to tame the blaze around 09:35am. The losses caused by the blaze could not be estimated immediately, according to a news agency.
