Zimbabwe lose 1st wicket

Set a victory target of 252 by hosts Bangladesh, Zimbabwe lost the wicket of their opener with just 1 run on the board in the 1st over their 2nd one-day international (ODI) in Chittagong on Sunday. Hamilton Masakadza played Mashrafe Mortaza on to the stumps to head back without scoring. Other opener Sikandar Raza and Vusi Sibanda, both yet to score, were in the middle for the African’s at the Zahur Ahmed Chowdhury Stadium. Earlier, Bangladesh posted 251 with a brilliant 158-run opening stand between Tamim Iqbal (76) and Anamul Haque (80). The left-hander scored his 27th ODI fifty off 72 balls while Anamul scored his second off 83. Anamul was dropped on 62. The pair brought up Bangladesh’s 2nd 150-run opening stand of the year, off 192 balls, according to a news agency.
