Zubair murder case verdict today

The verdict in the sensational Jahangirnagar University student Zubair killing case will be delivered today (Wednesday), reports UNB.
On January 28, Judge of the Dhaka's Speedy Trial Tribunal ABM Nizamul Haque set Wednesday for passing the judgment in the case.
On the day, the court also sent seven accused in the murder case to jail turning down their bail petitions.
The accused are Nazmul Hossain Plaban, Kamruzzaman Shohagh, Mazharul Islam, Muhammad Mahmudul Hasan Masud, Nazmus Sakim Tapu, Shafiul Alam Setu and Abhinandan Kundu.
Zubair Ahmed, an English Department student of the university, was beaten by some BCL activists on January 8, 2012 and he later succumbed to his injuries at United Hospital in Dhaka city the following day.
A case was later filed with Ashulia thana in this connection. Police submitted a charge sheet against 13 students of the university on April 8, 2012.
On September 8 last year, the Speedy Trial Tribunal-4 framed charges against the 13 BCL activists in the murder case.
