‘AL has no history of holding farcical trial’

In the wake of BNP’s allegation that the trial of the August 21 grenade attack case is being held in a farcical way, Industries Minister Amir Hossain Amu on Saturday said the ruling Awami League (AL) has no history of making a mockery in the name of trial. “Awami League has no history of holding farcical trial… it’s a fact and proven truth,” he said. The minister, also an advisory council member of the ruling Awami League, said this while addressing a discussion meeting organised by Dhanmondi, Kalabagan and New Market Thana Awami League at Rusell Square, marking the National Mourning Day, according to a news agency.
