‘BD a role model in women empowerment’

Democrat Congresswoman Sheila Jackson Lee has said Bangladesh is a role model for its remarkable achievements in women empowerment. She conveyed tribute to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina and expressed her deep interest to meet her when she will visit the United States in the future. Sheila Jackson said this when Bangladesh Ambassador to US Mohammad Ziauddin met her, who is currently Senior Member of the Committee on the Homeland Security and the Ranking member of the Subcommittee on the Border and Maritime Security, at the Capitol Hill on Tuesday, according to a message received in Dhaka  on Wednesday, according to a news agency.
