‘BNP regretting for wrong politics’

Thursday, 28 May 2015

BNP is now regretting for doing wrong politics, a minister said.
"BNP has been walking in the wrong direction for long and now looking for a new route. They are now looking for a way to survive. They don't have guts to appreciate our achievements," said Food Minister Quamrul Islam on Wednesday, reports BSS.
The minister came up with this observation while addressing an extended meeting of Dhaka city Awami League (AL) at its Bangabandhu Avenue office.
Presided over by acting president of city AL, MA Aziz, the meeting was addressed by city AL general secretary and Disaster Management and Relief Minister Mofazzal Hossain Chowdhury Maya, AL joint general secretary Jahangir Kabir Nanak, organising secretary AFM Bahauddin Nasim, Hazi Md Selim, MP, Shahe Alam Murad and others.
The leaders at the meeting urged all the fellow party leaders, activists and supporters to attend the mass-reception to Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on May 29 but asked them to avoid bringing banners along.
"Through holding this mass-reception, we want to let the nation know, Awami League is a party of its words. We are not  afraid of anything," said Maya.
"We want to produce a creative and elegant programme on that day, so that spectators from home and abroad become amused. None will be allowed to enter the programme premises with banners," Nanak in his speech said.
