‘BNP to make platform with polls-boycotting parties’

BNP is trying to make a platform with the parties that boycotted the January 5 election to wage a strong movement for forcing the government to concede to their demand for holding an immediate fresh national election. “Holding a fresh inclusive and acceptable election is now a demand of time. Efforts are on to make a platform with the political parties that boycotted the January 5 election to launch a vigorous movement,” said BNP acting secretary general Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir. The BNP spokesman came up with the disclosure while talking to local reporters at his ancestral home, according to a news agency.
