‘Ensure overall security at Dhaka airport’

Civil Aviation and Tourism Minister Rashed Khan Menon on Tuesday asked all concerned to ensure overall security as well as improving the services at Hazrat Shahjalal International Airport. Speaking at an inter-ministerial meeting at the Secretariat on the overall security of the airport, the minister also directed the authorities concerned to perform their duties with cautions so that the passengers do not get any negative impression about its security measures. Rashed Khan Menon observed that lessons need to be learned from the recent tragic accident of the Malaysian aircraft, according to a news agency.
