‘Healthcare service, good food, nutrition needed to reduce child mortality’

The Prime Minister's Political Adviser HT Imam Wednesday stressed the need for ensuring healthcare service, good food, nutrition and accommodation to pregnant mother for reducing child mortality, reports BSS.
"Healthcare service, good food, nutrition and accommodation will reduce maternal mortality and child mortality," he said while speaking as the chief guest at a convention centre in the city.
He said the government successfully ensured healthcare service at door steps through community clinics across the country, adding, "We have social safety net programmes for common people."
World Vision Bangladesh (WVB) organised the function "Global Week of Action-2014 & Health Budget Analysis Report Sharing" with its group director Stephen Halder in the chair.
