‘No exact figures on money laundered abroad’

The government does not have the exact amount of money laundered abroad, says the finance minister. During a question and answer session at Parliament on Tuesday, AMA Muhith said Bangladesh Financial Intelligence Unit was constantly working to stop money being siphoned off to foreign countries. “However this unit does not have information about the exact amount of money laundered,” he said, according to a news agency.
