‘No official account of military revolts’

The Bangladesh government does not have complete official accounts of the military revolts taking place between 1975 and 1981. There is also no record of the number of casualties in these incidents. The matter came to light on Wednesday when the LGRD minister, who represents the defence ministry in Parliament, failed to give specific figures in an answer to a star-marked question, according to a news agency.
