‘Repair all roads by July 20’

Communications Minister Obaidul Quader has ordered repairs of all roads and highways by July 20 for easy movement during Eid.
“I will accept no excuse. If anyone neglects his duty during this period he will be punished,” he said after visiting the Dhaka-Chittagong highway at Narayanganj Saturday, according to a news agency.
Quader said if any contractor was found lackadaisical with his work, his order would be cancelled.
The minister said there would be revolutionary change in Bangladesh’s communication system by 2018.
