‘Women entrepreneurs getting Tk 5.0m loan’

Finance Minister AMA Muhith on Tuesday told the House that the country's women entrepreneurs are getting maximum Tk 5.0 million as loan at 10 per cent interest from different banks and financial institutions as part of the women economic empowerment. "The Women Entrepreneur Dedicated Desk has also been set up at all bank branches to ensure the financial assistance for the women entrepreneurs," he said while answering to a scripted question of Salma Islam of Dhaka-1 in the Jatiya Sangsad (JS), according to a news agency.
