’Corrupt politics cause sufferings of people’

Saturday, 5 July 2014

Socialist Party of Bangladesh (SPB) general secretary Kholiquzzaman on Saturday held corrupt politics responsible for public sufferings. He said this referring to the government’s alleged failure to stop the use of toxic chemicals in perishable food items and ease traffic congestion ahead of the Eid-ul-Fitr. He was speaking at a rally jointly organised by Communist Party of Bangladesh (CPB) and SPB to press home their demand to pay the wages and festival bonus of workers-employees in all sectors before Ramadan 20, according to a news agency.
