’No concert, fair on sports grounds’

The Parliamentary Standing Committee on the Youth And Sports Ministry on Sunday recommended proper steps to stop arrangements of any concert, fair and other cultural programmes on sport grounds. It also suggested building more green sport grounds in the capital and other districts with a view to flourishing the potentials of players. The committee came up with the recommendations at its second meeting held with its chairman Zahid Ahsan Russel in the chair, according to a news agency.
