BRTA employee found dead in Gaibandha

GAIBANDHA, Dec 24 (BSS): An employee of the Bangladesh Road Transport Authority was found dead at his residence in the South Dhanghara area of the district town.
The deceased Hridoy Kumar, 30, son of Amullo Kumar Rajbangshi, a resident of Sirajganj district, was serving the BRTA as a licence assistant.
Assistant director of the BRTA, local office, Robiul Islam said Hridoy went to his rented house to take a number plate of a vehicle on Monday evening, but he was not returning to the office in time.
Getting no response from Hridoy despite several phone calls, some staff of the office went to his house and found his body, which was hanging from the ceiling.
Being informed, police recovered the body and sent it to the hospital morgue for an autopsy.
An unnatural death case has been filed with the Sadar police station.
