Monzur Mofiz new Managing Director (CC) of Premier Bank

Md Monzur Mofiz has been appointed as Additional Managing Director (AMD) of The Premier Bank PLC and has subsequently been entrusted with the responsibility of Managing Director (Current Charge), effective from December 14, says a press statement.
A veteran banker with nearly 32 years of experience, Monzur Mofiz started off his career in Sonali Bank in 1993. Prior to joining The Premier Bank, he also served ONE Bank, Dutch-Bangla Bank, The City Bank and AB Bank in different capacities.
Key achievements under his leadership include centralising corporate banking, formulating robust fund management policies, streamlining cost control, driving retail and SME deposit growth, expanding mobile financial services (MFS) and agent banking to remote areas, and launching full-fledged Islamic banking services.
Monzur Mofiz completed his B.Sc in civil engineering from Bangladesh University of Engineering & Technology (BUET) and an MBA in finance from the Institute of Business Administration (IBA), University of Dhaka.
