Navy, Police emerge champions in V-Day kabaddi

The Bangladesh Navy of the men's section and the Bangladesh Police of the women's section emerged champions in the Victory Day Kabaddi competition that concluded at the Shaheed Captain M Mansur Ali National Handball Stadium in the capital on Tuesday, reports BSS.
In the men's section, in an exciting final match, Bangladesh Navy beat Bangladesh Air Force by 38-36 points after leading the first half by 26-14 points.
Tuhin Tarafder of Navy was adjudged the player of the final, while Mizan Ahmed of Bangladesh Air Force was named the best raider of the tournament.
Nasir Uddin of the Navy and Dipayan of the Air Force were named the best catcher and player of the tournament, respectively.
In the women's section final, Bangladesh Police emerged as undefeated champions, defeating Bangladesh Ansar and VDP by 26-16 points after the first half ended in a 10-10 points draw.
