Stranded BD ships to cross Hormuz soon

The Iranian Ambassador to Bangladesh, Jalil Rahimi Jahanabadi, has expressed optimism that Bangladeshi vessels currently stranded in the Strait of Hormuz will soon be able to pass safely despite ongoing regional tensions.
Speaking on Sunday at a memorial gathering held at the historic Bot Tola of University of Dhaka, the envoy said that many ships are currently waiting in the Strait due to the prevailing war, including several from Bangladesh.
"We will cooperate with Bangladesh and ensure that its ships are able to depart. InshaAllah, they will cross the Strait of Hormuz very soon," he said.
The event titled: "Remembering the Martyred Students of the Islamic Republic of Iran: Demanding Justice and Accountability for US-Israeli War Crimes." -- was organised by the Revolutionary Student Council, Ambassador Jahanabadi attended as the chief guest.
During his speech, the ambassador also highlighted the cordial ties between Iran and Bangladesh, describing Bangladesh as a "brotherly nation." He emphasised that there is no hostility between the two countries and reaffirmed Iran's commitment to maintaining strong bilateral relations.
He stated that Iran has made it clear that any negotiations must be conducted on the basis of dignity. The envoy further noted that Iran would observe a temporary ceasefire during the agreed negotiation period. However, he warned that if the United States violates the ceasefire and launches attacks, Iran would be compelled to respond.
