Swapon stresses quality execution of development projects

Information and Broadcasting Minister Zahir Uddin Swapon has directed all concerned to ensure quality implementation and timely completion of ongoing development projects under the ministry, reports BSS.
He issued the directive while presiding over a review meeting on the latest progress of projects included in the Revised Annual Development Programme (RADP) for the fiscal year 2025-26 held at the ministry in the capital on Monday.
State Minister for Information and Broadcasting Yasser Khan Choudhury was present at the meeting.
Zahir Uddin Swapon said all projects under the ministry must be completed within the stipulated timeframe while ensuring the highest standards of implementation quality. He also underscored the importance of the proper and transparent utilisation of allocated government funds.
During the meeting, a detailed presentation was made on the physical and financial progress of the ongoing RADP-listed projects. Project directors concerned presented the overall status of their respective projects.
Senior officials and project directors of various projects concerned were present at the meeting, which was conducted by Secretary of the Ministry Mahbuba Farjana.
