Army Chief Gen Aziz earns PhD

Chief of Army Staff General Aziz Ahmed has earned his PhD degree from the Bangladesh University of Professionals (BUP).
The decision was approved by BUP at its Academic Council and Syndicate meeting on Sunday.
The subject of his PhD was 'Border Management Challenges of Border Guard Bangladesh (BGB): Issues in Transnational Threat'.
He did the PhD under the supervision of Vice Chancellor of Begum Rokeya University, Rangpur, Professor Dr Nazmul Ahsan Kalimullah.
The external examiner was Prof Dr Mita Banerjee, Vice Chancellor of Kanyashree University in Krishnanagar of West Bengal.
Other panel members were BUP Pro-VC Prof Dr MA Kashem, Jahangirnagar University's Prof Dr Md Mujahidul Islam and Dhaka University's International Relations Department teacher Prof Dr Rashed-uz-Zaman.
