A delegation of the Bangladesh China Chamber of Commerce & Industry (BCCCI) on Monday called on Commerce Minister Khandaker Abdul Muktadir and placed several proposals to strengthen trade and investment cooperation between Bangladesh and China.
The delegation, led by BCCCI President Mohd. Khorshed Alam, highlighted the need to establish at least 20 "Made in Bangladesh" branded outlets in China, allow private sector LNG imports to ensure uninterrupted industrial production, and attract greater Chinese investments in economic zones, including relocation of labour-intensive industries, reports BSS.
The chamber also proposed boosting exports of agricultural and value-added products to China, setting up a modern polytechnic institute and a nursing training institute with Chinese support.
