EU Ambassador Michael Miller visits Ctg port

CHITTAGONG, Jan 23: Ambassador of the European Union to Bangladesh Michael Miller visited Chittagong port, the prime sea port of Bangladesh on Thursday.
Michael Miller expressed his satisfaction over the development of the Chittagong port during the visit. The European Union envoy met with Chairman of Chittagong Port Authority (CPA) Rear Admiral SM Moniruzzaman.
SM Monriuzzaman highlighting the importance of seaports in Bangladesh said, "Chittagong Port, the prime sea port of the country is a blessing for us. We are implementing mega projects to make the Chittagong sea port the most modern one and of international standard. Chittagong port is on the way to becoming a smart and modern international sea port for the world. Many countries can use the port in future." At that time, first councilor of European Union Mr. Edwin Koekkoek, First Secretary Mr. Sebastian Riger-Brown, Member of CPA Commodore Ahamed Amin Abdullah, Md Mahbub Alam Talukdar and Director Omar Faruk and secretary Azizul Mowla were present.
