JAMUNA BANK HOLDS WORKSHOP ON EMERGING GLOBAL SUSTAINABILITY REGULATIONS

Jamuna Bank PLC organised a capacity building workshop titled "Evolving Global Regulatory Landscape Relating to Carbon Emissions and Sustainability" at the Jamuna Bank Training Academy (JBTA), Dhaka, on Saturday. Held as part of the bank's continued commitment to strengthening institutional capacity on climate-related regulatory compliance, the session covered major EU frameworks including CBAM, CSRD, ESPR and the Digital Product Passport (DPP). The event was inaugurated by chief guest Abdus Salam, Additional Managing Director and Head of the Sustainable Finance Committee, with special guests Md. Shahidul Islam, DMD & CRO, and Mohammad Jahangir Alam, DMD & Head of Wholesale Banking Division.
