JCS blocks Shahbag

Jatiya Chhatra Shakti (JCS) has blocked Shahbag intersection, demanding the arrest of those responsible for the gun attack on Sharif Hadi.
They also demanded the resignation of Home Adviser Jahangir Alam Chowdhury.
Leaders and activists of JCS took position at the Shahbag intersection around 12:30 pm on Monday, causing disruption to the traffic in the area.
JCS General Secretary Abu Bakar Majumder said they are demanding the immediate resignation of the home adviser and urged students and residents of Dhaka to make the blockade programme a success.
After the blockade until around 3:30 pm, the organisation announced the end of its programme.
