Kidnapped boy rescued

GAZIPUR, July 6 (UNB): A boy, who was kidnapped from pourashava area Saturday, was rescued from Madhabdi Upazila in Narsingdi Sunday.
The victim was identified as Badhan (7), student of Jalaluddin Institute of Laxmipura in the pourashava.
A man, Jilani, resident of Sagirpara village in Narsingdi, came to visit boy's house and took him to a local fair Saturday morning.
Later, the man took the boy to Narsingdi from the fair and demanded Tk 0.2 million (2 lakh) ransom from his mother over cell phone.
