New US Charge d'affaires meets foreign adviser

Tracey Ann Jacobson, the new Charge d'affaires of the US Embassy in Dhaka, met with Foreign Affairs Adviser Md. Touhid Hossain and Foreign Secretary Md. Jashim Uddin for the first time on Sunday.
They discussed shared interests and priorities between the US and Bangladesh. Ambassador Jacobson underscored a strong partnership between the two countries as well as support for the interim government's efforts to chart a prosperous and democratic path for the Bangladeshi people, a spokesperson of the US Embassy said.
