Shamsul Huda reappointed as CEO of Sonar Bangla Ins

Md Shamsul Huda has been reappointed as the chief executive officer of Sonar Bangla Insurance Limited.
His reappointment has been approved by the Insurance Development and Regulatory Authority (IDRA) for the next three years, effective from March 5, says a press statement.
Before joining Sonar Bangla Insurance, Mr Huda worked at Global Insurance, People's Insurance and Nitol Insurance Company.

He has a total of 37 years of experience in the non-life insurance sector. Mr Huda obtained his bachelor's (honours) and master's degrees in economics from the University of Dhaka. He also holds a diploma in insurance from the Bangladesh Insurance Academy.
He hails from Akhaura in Brahmanbaria District.
