Shykh Seraj's birthday today

Today (Friday) is the birthday of eminent media personality Shykh Seraj.
Born on September 7, 1954 in Chandpur district, Shykh Seraj has been deeply involved with the media in cultural and developmental activities since his student life. He became popular as the host of the popular agri-documentary 'Mati O Manush' aired in Bangladesh Television, says a press release.
He was the youngest person to receive the Ekushey Padak in 1995 for his contribution to development journalism.
In 2018, Swadhinata Puroshkar, the highest civilian honour of the country, went to Shykh Seraj as he contributed to the promotion of agricultural journalism.
He received over fifty honours and accolades from home and abroad.
