Sonali Bank to initiate internet banking by March, says MD

Sonali Bank's Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director Md Ataur Rahman Prodhan has said that the state-owned commercial bank will introduce internet banking by March next and that adequate measures have been taken in this regard.
The top executive of the bank has also directed branch managers to work relentlessly to make their respective branches profitable.
He made the call while speaking as the chief guest at the bank's Business Development Exchange Meeting and Branch Manager Conference - 2021 for the Chattogram region, at a hotel in Cox's Bazar on Saturday, said a press release.
The bank's deputy managing director Md Zahidul Haque also spoke on the occasion presided over by Md Jahangir Alam, general manager of Chattogram office.
Deputy general managers Md Hossain, Md Monir Hossain and Md Yakub, among others, were present.
