Standard Bank gets new director

Kazi Khurram Ahmed, a shareholder of Standard Bank Limited, has been elected director of bank recently, says a statement.
He was unanimously elected director of the bank by the shareholders during the bank's 20th Annual General Meeting (AGM) in the city recently.
Khurram Ahmed is the proprietor of Ahmed & Sons and chairman and managing director of EMX Limited and also the director of SBL Capital Management Limited, Eastern Engineering Works Limited.
He was chairman of the Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry (FBCCI)'s standing committee on international affairs.
