Towfika Aftab re-elected chairperson of Citizens Bank

Towfika Aftab has been unanimously re-elected the chairperson of the Board of Directors of Citizens Bank PLC recently.
Mrs. Aftab, born in a respectable Muslim family of Cumilla district, obtained master's degree in political science and LLB from the University of Dhaka.
Mrs. Aftab has been in the legal profession for over the last 26 years.
To provide legal assistance to the deprived and helpless prisoners, she founded a charitable and non-political organisation namely Legal Assistance to Helpless Prisoners and Persons (LAHP).
She is also associated with a number of charitable and welfare-oriented organisations, including Inner Wheel.
