Two BCL leaders sent to jail

A Dhaka court has sent two central leaders of banned Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) to jail, reports BSS.
They are BCL central organising secretaries Siam Rahman and Anowar Hossain Naieem.
Police produced them before the Dhaka Metropolitan Magistrate Court on expiry of their two-day remand on Friday.
The investigative officer of the case prayed for keeping them behind the bar until the investigation of the case is completed.
Later, Dhaka Judicial Magistrate Sarah Farzana Haque passed the order.
Police arrested Siam from city's Adabor area and Naieem from Sripur of Gazipur on December 18.
