29th Annual Sports Competition of Dhaka Engineering University School

The 29th Annual Sports Competition of Dhaka Engineering University School, Gazipur -- which is located inside the campus of Dhaka University of Engineering and Technology (DUET) -- was held on Monday. DUET Vice-Chancellor (VC) Professor Dr. Mohammad Zoynal Abedin inaugurated the day-long event by releasing balloons and pigeons into the sky. DUET Pro VC Professor Dr. Md Arefin Kowser, Director (Student-Welfare) Professor Dr. Utpal Kumar Das, Director (Physical Education Centre) Professor Dr. Kazi Rafiqul Islam were present on the occasion as special guests. DUET Department of Civil Engineering Professor Dr. Md. Khasro Miah presided over the programme. A prize giving ceremony was held following the competition. The school's Principal Md.
