3rd Nat’l Women's Baseball Championship from today

The Marcel 3rd National Women Baseball Championship 2019 will begin at Sultana Kamal Women's Complex at Dhanmondi in the city today (Sunday), reports UNB.

Eight teams, split into two groups, will participate in the three-day tournament organised by Bangladesh Baseball-Softball Association.

Bangladesh Baseball-Softball Association General Secretary Aminul Islam Liton, Walton Group Executive Director (Games and Sports) FM Iqbal Bin Anwar Dawn, and Secretary of Tournament Committee Azam Ali Khan disclosed the tournament details at a media conference at the BOA auditorium in the city on Saturday.

Participating teams are: Defending champions Bangladesh Ansar, runners-up Bangladesh Police, BJMC, Dhaka District, SKSP, USCD Gazipur, Dhaka Community SC and Solaiman SC.
