Paraguay football federation post on twitter about the two matches

ASUNCION, Oct 08 (Xinhua): Paraguay will play their final friendlies of the year against South American rivals Venezuela and Argentina next month as the teams prepare for the South American zone World Cup qualifiers.

The Paraguayan Football Association said in a Twitter post that the clash against Argentina would be played in Dhaka, Bangladesh on November 18, but did not provide further details of the either match.

Eduardo Berizzo's side will first turn their focus to Thursday's friendly against Serbia in Belgrade and a duel with Slovakia in Bratislava on Sunday.

Paraguay are aiming to qualify for their first World Cup since 2010, when they reached the last eight in South Africa.

The South American Football Confederation (CONMEBOL) qualifying tournament for the 2022 edition in Qatar will begin in March 2020.

A tweet from the Paraguay national football team mentioned that there would be two matches between Paraguay and Argentina on November 18 and another one between Paraguay and Venezuela on November 15 during the November FIFA international break.

However, the report did not mention whether the Argentinian captain Lionel Messi would be playing in the match.
