Bangladesh A batters batted resolutely to keep the side's nose ahead against the visiting New Zealand A on Day 2 of the series-deciding second four-day game at Sher-e-Bangla National Cricket Stadium in the city on Thursday, reports BSS.
The home side is aiming to draw the series after losing the first four-day game by 70 runs. Three batters hit half-centuries as Bangladesh A were bowled out for 357 in their first innings. At stumps, New Zealand A reached 104-1, still trail by 253 runs.
Resuming the Day 2 at 225-4, Bangladesh rode on Amite Hasan's 67 to take the score past 350.
Amite who has been the consistent run-getter in the domestic first class tournament, continued his form in this game as well and struck eight fours and a six in his 110-ball-knock.
