Bangladesh Golf Open begins in city

The AB Bank Bangladesh Golf Open-2018, an Asian Tour Professional Golf Tournament, began at Kurmitola Golf Club of Dhaka Cantonment on Tuesday, reports UNB.

Senior Vice President of Bangladesh Golf Federation Major General AKM Abdullah Hil Baqui, who is also the Commandant of Defence Services Command and Staff College, inaugurated the four-day meet in the afternoon.

Secretary General of Bangladesh Golf Federation Brigadier General Kazi Shamsul Islam, Tournament Director Brigadier General (retd) Abidur Reza Khan and Managing Director of AB Bank Moshiur Rahman Chowdhury were, among others, present on the occasion.
