Bangladesh's much-anticipated five-match T20I series against Pakistan may begin later than expected as there is a reschedule in the Pakistan Super League (PSL), report agencies.

Initially, the series was scheduled to start on May 25, but the series opener could now take place on May 27, as the PSL final has been pushed to June 25.

According to sources, the proposed revised dates would see the T20Is held on May 27, 29, and June 1, 3, and 5. According to the previous schedule, Faisalabad is the venue for the first two matches, and Lahore is the venue for the final three matches. However, if there can be any change in the venues has yet to be confirmed by the Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB).

Meanwhile, the Bangladesh squad is set to depart for the UAE on May 14 in two separate groups. They will play two T20Is against the UAE on May 17 and 19 in Sharjah before flying to Pakistan. According to previous schedule, Bangladesh are scheduled to depart for Pakistan on May 21.

Each match in the Bangladesh-Pakistan series is scheduled to begin at 8pm local time (9pm Bangladesh time).

The Bangladesh squad, led by Litton Das, features a blend of youth and experience, including Tanzid Hasan Tamim, Soumya Sarkar, Mustafizur Rahman, and promising pacer Nahid Rana.
