Bangladesh tennis team lose to Bahrain

Bangladesh tennis team got off to a losing start as they suffered a 3-0 defeat to host Bahrain in their opening group D match of the '2024 Davis Cup Asia/Oceania Group-5' tennis tournament held on Wednesday in Isa Town, Bahrain, reports BSS.

The team will play their remaining group matches against Yemen and Tajikistan.

Apart from host Bahrain, Bangladesh, Bhutan, Brunei, Laos, Macau, Maldives, Mongolia, Yemen, Nepal, Tajikistan, Guam, Turkmenistan, Northern Marina Island and Philippines Davis Cup teams are taking part in the competition which is being held under the sanction of International Tennis Federation and under the management of Bahrain Tennis Federation.
